Day 1

We are slightly jet-lagged and wishing for a nap, but the team rallied this morning for breakfast and a morning devotional by Nessa.  She reminded us of the blessings we receive when we are willing to always say 'yes' to God no matter what is asked of us.

Today is our only relaxed day of preparations and exploring the city a bit.  The team is creating bags of craft supplies to make the cross charms and making rainbow bracelets for the younger kids.  We'll walk to lunch then return to the guest house to make more bracelets, bond and have an early dinner because tomorrow is an early and full day.

Thank you for all your prayers and support.  Everyone is excited to be in Uganda and the team is connecting well with each other.
